Minister Uraloğlu: Critical Data Will Be More Secure with the Domestic and National Data Center

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that with the Gölbaşı Data Center—which will increase Türksat’s data center capacity by more than eightfold—they will meet the needs of all data and cloud services, especially the e-government Gateway, through domestically developed software.
Noting that they plan to largely complete the construction and architectural works of the data center in 2026, Minister Uraloğlu said, “We aim to commission our critical IT center in 2027.”
Minister Uraloğlu announced that Türksat, which has established Türkiye’s digital infrastructure, particularly the e-government Gateway, will implement a new project.
