With our C-Band, Ku-Band, BSS Band, and Ka-Band antenna infrastructure located at our Gölbaşı campus, we receive signals from various satellites within our coverage area, securely retransmit these signals to other satellites, and enable you to manage your broadcasts flexibly.
We ensure broadcast continuity by providing uplink services to platform operators through our satellite ground stations, supported by redundant systems.
Broad Satellite Access and Uplink Infrastructure
- Through the antennas at our Gölbaşı Teleport Center, signals from satellites operated by different satellite operators can be received, retransmitted to other satellites, or delivered to user organizations via terrestrial infrastructure.
- This transmission is achieved by digitizing TV and radio broadcasts delivered to Türksat “headends” via Metro Ethernet, TTVPN, “turnaround,” and radio link lines.
With the 6.3-meter Ka-Band Satellite Ground Station established in 2014, uplink operations are performed in the Ka-Band frequency on the Türksat 4A communication satellite, enabling digital packet transmission that can be received in the FSS (Ku) frequency band within the Central West Africa coverage area.
Digital Package Broadcasting Experience
Türksat has many years of experience in digital package broadcasting.
- In 2008, our digital package broadcasts initially served 44 TV channels,
- As of 2025, this capacity has expanded to include 500+ TV channels and broadband data services.
EPG, Playout, and 24/7 Monitoring
At our Gölbaşı Teleport Center:
- EPG (Electronic Program Guide) and playout services are provided,
- Broadcast monitoring, control, and analysis are carried out 24/7 by technical personnel at our TV Uplink Center.
