Türksat, an important solution partner in the strategic e-Transformation projects realized by public institutions, signed the “e-Triage- What is wrong with me” Project with the Ministry of Health. The project, which started its test trials in September, aims to develop a system that will propose patients an outpatient clinic by asking them questions in line with their complaints.

According the data presented by the Ministry of Health, 6% of patients who want to be examined get an appointment from the wrong physician. A new initiative to avoid wasting time and resources of citizens and health personnel is aimed.

Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca, stated that the system will present citizens with 5 possible diagnosis and 3 branches based on a maximum of 22 questions directed to citizens in regards to their health complaint. Minister Koca underlined that an average of 2 million examinations take place per day, and with the ‘What’s wrong with me?’ Project, it will on a daily bases prevent over 100 thousand citizens from going to the wrong clinic. Integrated with E-Pulse and MHRS, the ‘What is wrong with me?’ Project is a decision support system supported by artificial intelligence, that will help Turkey reach a critical digital infrastructure in the field of health.
